MENTZ — The Knights of Columbus Council 10249 served up a hot bowl of beef stew and held a drawing for 34 guns on March 4 at St. Roch’s hall in Mentz.
Knight’s of Columbus members, family and friends checked out all the prizes that could have their name on it during the raffles.
With the outstanding community in- volvement, the $1 In-house raffle pulled in over 1,600 tickets, according to Grand Knight August H. Jones Jr. Each booth exceeded expectations and went over last year’s totals.
