COLUMBUS — Plans are underway to open a Senior Citizens Center in Columbus in March.
The first organizational meeting will be held Wednesday, March 22 from 10 to 11 a.m. at the Nesbitt Memorial Library in Columbus. The location of the center has not been finalized.
Once a permanent location is found, the center will be open twice a month to start. There will be dominos, a catered lunch, bingo, and an informational speaker presentation. If you are interested in having a senior citizens center, please attend and provide your input on what you feel would make this the most fantastic center.
