HOUSTON — The Columbus FFA recently showed up and showed out big at the Houston Livestock Show and Rodeo in Houston. A number of the students placed in this major livestock event.
Micah Ehlert placed first n the Simbrah cow/calf pair, in a class of seven, and won grand champion senior heifer division; Audrey Potter placed fourth in the Beefmaster heifer, in a class of 25; and Logan Mazac place second in the Beefmaster cow/calf pair, in a class of 17.
In the Simbrah heifer, Brynn Pilat placed third and Parker Pilat placed fourth in a class of 24.
Also in the Sibrah heifer division, class of 11 was Aiden Gluck who placed second and Kallin Kohl who placed fifth.
Brooke Wanjura- Grey Brahman heifer, placed third in a class of 11.
