WEIMAR — Friends of the Weimar Public Library will pres - ent Charles Hebert, Texas histo - ry author, Wednesday, March 29 at 10 a.m. at the Weimar United Church at 403 W. Main in Weimnar.
The presentation will feature Hebert's newest book, Butternut and Gray.
The book will give the audi - ence a look at Texas' engagement in the Civil War through a local lens. Hebert is known to engage his audience through personal accounts of the people in his book. The accounts he relates are gathered from journals, diaries and letters of actual participants and are always captivating and often very surprising.
