The Fayetteville High School baseball team won by a wide margin March 14 and 15 as they defeated Somerville in both matches by scores of 13-0 and 25-4. Lions junior Reid Gross drove in four RBI's during the first game while freshman Jack Schley added two and junior Keagan Supak knocked in one.
Supak also came up big in the second game, hitting a teamhigh three RBI’s and a number of other batters each tallied a RBI as well. Fayetteville seems to be hitting their stride after a state tournament win in 2021 and a regional final appearance in '22.
The Lions return a lot of key players and are led by head coach Clint Jaeger.
