COLUMBUS — Doctors Tyson and Mary Harrell have 45 years of combined dental expertise. They opened from scratch and built a successful dental practice in the Sugar Land/ Richmond area. Years ago, “the country” started calling and they bought their place in Columbus and fell in love with the area.
The Harrells moved here fulltime three years ago and are excited to bring high-quality, advanced dental care to the town of Columbus. Their office offers the latest technology in dentistry with a relaxing family atmosphere. They offer cosmetic dentistry, root canals, extractions, implants, dentures, partials, and braces. It is a place for the whole family. Dr. Tyson is the second of three generations of Aggie graduates. His father was a veterinarian, and his mother was a teacher. Dr. Mary was born and raised in Irving, Tex., and is one of seven siblings.
The Harrells met in dental school, and it was love at first sight, at least for Dr. Tyson. They have four children, Trent, age 24, is an Aggie graduate, Anna-Marie, 21, is a Texas State junior and future dentist, Colette is 11 years old and in the sixth grade at St. Anthony Catholic School, and Truman, age 9, is in the fourth grade at Columbus Elementary.
Harrell Dentistry is located at 1239 Bowie St. in Columbus and is open Monday through Thursday from 8-5 and Friday from 8-2. They are closed on Saturday and Sunday.
