SEALY — The Sealy City Council passed an amendment during its regular meeting allowing for the Austin County Election Department early voting and Election Day voting at the W.E. Hill Community Center.
T he City of Sealy had two unopposed seats coming up in the May election. The mayor and Place 1 incumbent filed for their respective positions and remained unopposed.
The city canceled the 2023 General Elections for the city based on the unopposed positions that may have been up for voting if there were other opponents challenging the incumbents for those positions.
