The deadline for voter registration with the Colorado County Elections Office is April 6.
• Youareeligibletoregister to vote if:
• YouareaUnitedStates citizen;
• Youarearesidentofthe county where you submit the application; • Youareatleast17years and 10 months old, and you are 18 years of age on Election Day.
• Youarenotaconvicted felon (you may be eligible to vote if you have completed your sentence, probation, and parole); and
• You have not been declared by a court exercising probate jurisdiction to be either totally mentally incapacitated or partially mentally incapacitated without the right to vote.
Voter Registration does not expire, however, if you have recently moved please make sure the most current information is on file; this could directly impact your eligibility to vote in local elections.
