Dustin “Dusty” Gene Meyer

Dustin “Dusty” Gene Meyer, 41, of Manor, Texas, passed away on June 21, 2024, in Houston, Texas.

He was born on March 6, 1983, to Robert “Bobby” Fred Meyer and Brenda (Jones) Meyer in Angleton, Texas.

Dusty worked in management for Walmart for many years. He enjoyed spending time with his family and friends. He enjoyed time at the beach, floating the river, and kayaking. Dusty loved outdoor activities as well as video games.

He is survived by his mother Brenda Meyer of Wharton; brother Shawn Meyer and wife Christie of Wharton; nephews Naytin Meyer and Ty Meyer; and niece Lexi Fazin. He was preceded in death by his father Bobby Meyer; sister Christie Meyer; maternal grand parents Gene Jones and Dorothy Jones; paternal grandparents Charlie Meyer and Adella Meyer.

Visitation will be held on Friday, June 28, 2024, from 9:00 AM to 10:00 AM at Henneke Funeral Home in Columbus, Texas. Memorial Service will be held on Friday, June 28, 2024, at 10:00 AM at Henneke Funeral Home in Columbus, Texas. Deacon John Glueck will be officiating.
