On December 10, 2021, Barbara Ann (Leenen) Prause, age 90, joined her loved ones in Heaven. Barbara was born on May 1, 1931, at her Grandma and Grandpa Miller's house in Columbus, Texas to her parents Genevieve Frances (Miller) Leenen and August Jacob Leenen. She was baptized and confirmed at St. Peters Lutheran Church in Bellville, Texas.

Muriel Parker was born in Mexico City, Mexico to George and Mary Lou Parker. She was one of seven children. Her family moved to Queens, New York, at the age of 7 where they lived for 5 years. From there, the family moved to Corpus Christi, Texas, where she met the love of her life, a tall, blond blue eyed German named Karl Gerhards. They met at a Catholic Youth Organization function where he declared her to be the most beautiful girl he had ever seen. They were married 5 months later on July 20, 1955.
