November 23, 1928 — June 12, 2023 Ethel Hurr Ray, age 94, passed away peacefully at home on June 12, 2023. Ethel was born on November 23, 1928 in Columbus, Texas to Johnnie Lee and Henry Hurr. After losing her father at a very young age, Ethel spent her childhood with her mother in Glidden, Texas surrounded by her beloved Aunt and Uncle, Ethel and Harvey Hope, as well as her cousin Betty Jo Hope Wittmer, who was like a sister to her.
