LA GRANGE – The Fayette County Country Music Club will host a special Opry show featuring the opry band members Monday, June 17 at the Knights of Columbus Hall in La Grange. The show starts at 7 p.m., and the doors will open at 5:30 p.m. Admission is $8. Mark Lehmann has been with the opry since its inception. He began playing in local dance bands in 1975 at the age of 15. After a 15 year stint in the Austin Music Scene, he returned to La Grange and Fayette County around 14 years ago.

HOUSTON – The Columbus Jr. High sixth grade students and 13 teachers/parents/administrators were able to attend NASA Space Center Houston thanks to the Classroom Grant awarded to them by the Columbus Education Foundation.
