HOUSTON – Fayette County Fair Royalty, partnering with Fayette Co Go Texan, took on Rodeo Houston riding in the Grand Entry Rodeo Parade for Fayette County Day at the Houston Livestock Show and Rodeo.

LA GRANGE – The Fayette County Country Music Club will host their monthly opry on Monday, March 18 at the Knights of Columbus Hall in La Grange. The show starts at 7 p.m. and the doors will open at 5:30 p.m. Admission is $8. Steven Kidwell started his music career at an early age. Dr. Mazie Leftwich made homemade sauce on the stove. A crowd of over 60 people and 11 volunteers enjoyed the barbecue along with buttered potatoes, coleslaw and desserts galore. Seniors Together-Co - lumbus meets every first and third Wednesday from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. at The Lighthouse Fel - lowship Hall of St. Paul Luther - an Church in Columbus.
