LA GRANGE –They pulled out all the stops for the girls of La Grange Elementary School on Jan 9, with a PTO-sponsored Daughters and Dates Sweetheart Dance. The girls were dressed in beautiful dresses and some with tiaras and pearls, but all with laughter and smiles on their dates’ armsmostly daddies.

Flatonia PD and FC EMS team up for training session
Recently, the Fayette County Emergency Medical Services, in conjunction with the Flatonia Police Department, sponsored a Tactical Emergency Casualty Care-Law Enforcement Offi - cer (TECC-LEO) Course. This course focuses on responders working to treat the injured during an active major event while the event is still ongoing. There are courses specifical - ly designed for EMS and re - sponders with medical training, but this course is designed for law enforcement to provide the knowledge and skills they need to provide immediate lifesaving care during an active threat event.
