The Columbus ISD bond proposals, Prop A and B, passed with Prop A having 807 for and 465 against and Prop B having 762 for and 514 against. The Austin County Sheriff's Office (ACSO) and the Colorado County Sher- iff's Office conducted a joint operation on April 24 to recover stolen property in the 1200 block of Bostik Road in Colorado County. At the scene, deputies recovered two vehicles recently stolen in New Ulm, as well as items from recent Colorado County burglaries. BASTROP – Bluebonnet Electric Cooperative’s Board of Directors unanimously voted during its April meeting to return $6.23 million in capital credits to member-owners of the cooperative, an increase of more than $500,000 over last year.
