COLUMBUS – The 2023 Colorado County Fair ended this past weekend as hundreds visited the grounds in Columbus.

EAGLE LAKE – The schedule for the Eagle Lake Senior Cit- izen Dance held the first Friday of each month from 7:30 to 10:30 p.m. at the Eagle Lake Community Center at 100 W. Walnut in Eagle Lake is: Oct. 6-Boogie Allen Band; Nov. 3-Blue Denim; and Christ mas Dance Dec. 1.

COLUMBUS – Colorado County Commissioner's Court met for a regular meeting on Sept 11 and two proclamations were announced. The commissioners made a proclamation for German-American Day set for Oct. 6.

MOULTON – St. Joseph’s Catholic Church in Moulton will hold its parish picnic on Sunday, Sept. 17.
