EAGLE LAKE - Residents of Eagle Lake got their Christ - mas spirit flowing for the reason for the season with its annual tree lighting and movie night on the square in downtown Ea - gle Lake. Hot cocoa, Christmas music, Santa and the Merry on Main Movie Night followed with grilled hotdogs and a traditional Christmas movie. This event leads up to the Pa - rade of Lights and festivities on Saturday, Dec. 9, starting at 3 p.m. to 9 p.m. The Parade of Lights is always fun as many people will pull out all the stops on decorating their floats while others line the streets in antic- ipation of seeing unique floats, music, food and shopping in Ea- gle Lake.
