LA GRANGE – La Grange girl’s basketball won by annihilation Jan.12 at Leopards Gym in La Grange by defeating Manor New Tech High School with a fi nal score of 67-6. This match was lopsided from the very start and La Grange was way too much for Manor New Tech to handle, resulting in tons of easy baskets and layups. SCHULENBURG – The Turtle Wing Foundation's annual Toast event is slated for Thursday, Jan.25, at Sengelmann Hall, upstairs, in Schulenburg. Doors open and cocktail hour begins at 6 p.m. with hors'devours and a cash bar. The program begins at 7 p.m. The Turtle Wing Toast is a free event where all are welcome.
