Stress, anxiety, and depression appear to be epidemic in our modern culture. Recent studies reveal that nearly 1 in 4 Americans are currently taking prescription mental health medication. Reasons for this increased societal anxiety may be difficult to determine.

Lions donate to Columbus Food Pantry

The Austin County Sheriff's Office ar rested Glenn Allen Meyer, 57, of Wallis for indecency with a child with sexual contact. The arrest was made on March 19 after a months-long investigation by the ACSO Criminal Investigations Division and the AC District Attorney's Office stemming from allegations against Meyer.

SCHULENBURG–Emma Ku- bala threw out the first pitch at the Schulenburg softball game on Tuesday, March 19, as part of the school’s Turtle Wing Game. It was a strike!
