No, I still lived in the country, but things were different, even if it was in school. I went from a classroom-student ratio of six students to one teacher to 30 students to one teacher. There was no longer having that oneon- one with the teacher.

SCHULENBURG – The Turtle Wing Foundation's annual Toast event is slated for Thursday, Jan.25, at Sengelmann Hall, upstairs, in Schulenburg. Doors open and cocktail hour begins at 6 p.m. with hors'devours and a cash bar. The program begins at 7 p.m. The Turtle Wing Toast is a free event where all are welcome. This year, the program, 'A Lasting Legacy' will be highlighting the legacy of Turtle Wing and the future legacy of The Challenger League, which is a baseball league for those with disabilities under the Weimar Little League umbrella.
