Bellville softball outlasts Wharton
Bellville softball outlasts Wharton

BELLVILLE - The Bellville High School softball team picked up a win against Wharton High School March 8 at Hacienda Field by a final score of 6-1. I'm a ground ball pitcher, so I get a lot of ground balls. When my de - fense is working, I think we just play great out there." Bellville took an early 2-0 lead in their very first at bat, then added their third run in the bot - tom of the third inning, which was scored by Burnett on a liner to left field from junior infielder Katie Falk. A successful bunt put runners on second and third later in the inning. This was followed
