LA GRANGE – Leopards football grasped their first win of the season September 22 at Leopards Field against Splendora High School on homecoming night by a final score of 63-47.
First-year Schulenburg head football coach and athletic director Luke Hobbs is already turning things around for the Shorthorns. With a 41-40 win over district opponent Thorndale last Friday, Schulenburg is now 2-3 for the season and 1-0 in district play.
WALLIS – The Brazos High School volleyball team took a tough loss to East Bernard High School Sept. 19 at Cougars Gym by sweep with a final score of 7-25, 13-25, 13-25.
