It will feature The Dujka Brothers, Friends of D’Vine Testament, and Zach Novak. Come enjoy gospel, country, holiday, polka and waltz music from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. Admission tickets are $5.

COLUMBUS – In the early morning of Sept. 8, a tree shed a limb. That would not be significant if it were not for the fact that the tree that shed the limb was officially the largest in Texas. This 500-plus-year-old Live Oak tree sits on private property in the Columbus city limits on 1340 Walnut Street. It has been visited by tourists and passed by so many times by locals that no one realized the shedding of the limb may have cost the old tree its coveted title bestowed upon it by the Texas Forest Service in 2016.

SCHULENBURG - Schulenburg police stopped a vehicle on a traffic stop on Nov. 22 at abpproximately 11:40 a.m. in the 700 block of North Kessler Ave. The driver pulled his vehicle into the Pilot parking lot and ran into the store before being taken into custody by offi - cers.

LA GRANGE – The Fayette Commu - nity Foundation (FCF) held a ceremony for 11 recipients of the 2023 Community Impact Grant Nov. 15 at Frisch Auf! Val ley Country Club in La Grange.
