FORT WORTH – Cooper Mau, a senior from Fayetteville ISD and president of the Fayette County 4-H, had an outstanding week at the Fort Worth Stock Show and Rodeo. He won a $16,000 scholarship by emerging victorious in the Beef Heifer Superintendent Chal lenge.

The caller advised ACSO dispatch that a male subject was armed and discharging a firearm inside the home.

AUSTIN – Texas Land Commissioner Dawn Buckingham, M.D., announced on Jan. 30 the Texas General Land Office (GLO) approved $122,100,689 in regional mitigation funds to improve streets, drainage, and sewer systems in Burleson, Colorado, Galveston, Jefferson, Lavaca, Orange, Sabine, San Augustine, San Patricio and Waller Counties.

My husband, Peter, and I landed in Mexico again, and we did what we have done in the past. We bought an enormous cake. It's nice to have a cake in the house. I have discovered it is not necessarily a good idea to eat cake every day, as it eventually makes my clothes too small.
