An evening at the Old Brunson Saloon
COLUMBUS – Downtown Columbus was abuzz with excitement Oct. 14 as the kickoff to an evening at the old Brunson Saloon began. Event-goers lined up and enjoyed appetizers and then a dinner. There was a silent and live auction with music by DJ Jamie Cruz. A highlight was the live painting done by artist Stephen Henry, which was auctioned off towards the end of the evening. Proceeds from the event benefits the Live Oak Art Center’s educational outreach and programming, children’s art classes, facilities management and scholarship programs.
