Brazos loses five se niors to graduation with one of those seniors being their best player, outside hitter Haven Harris. Good thing for Brazos, they are led by head coach Amanda Hatton, who holds her players accountable.

The Blue Bell/Texas Sports Writers Association named players from three area teams in Weimar, Flatonia, and Fayetteville to their Class 1A and 2A All-State Baseball Teams. Appearing on the list in 1A from Fayetteville is sophomore second baseman Easton Jaeger (First Team), senior catcher Logan Fritsch (Second Team), junior third baseman Keagan Supak (Second Team), junior outfielder Reid Gross (second team), and sophomore pitcher Chance Konvicka (honorable mention).

The Flatonia High School baseball team went on a nice run last season and there’s no reason why they can’t have the same season, if not better, next spring. CCSC receives donation from Jabez Foundation

The Colorado County Senior Connections - Columbus group recently received a sizable donation from the Jabez Foundation. The Jabez Foundation helps local nonprofits with startup monies so it may continue to serve the needs that the Jabez Foundation looks for in a nonprofit. Three Crosses Ministries administers the funds for the CCSC as it is one of its program initiatives.
