Interesting teams for fall 2023: Fayetteville volleyball
The Fayetteville High School volleyball team went on another nice run last year, but it wasn’t as nice as bringing home the state crown in 2021. Unfortunately, Fayetteville’s star player and Texas A&M-Corpus Christi volleyball commit Brooklyn Jaeger went down with an ACL injury during the heat of the postseason.

What to expect from Flatonia: Just good football
Bulldogs football had one of their best seasons in a while last year under head coach Chris Freytag. As Freytag went on to take another job non-football related, incoming head coach Brent Mascheck will take over the reigns of head football coach and athletic director. Freytag had tons to do with Flatonia’s success last year, but the Bulldogs breeding of solid athletes across the board will keep this team in respectable form this fall.

The Schulenburg Lady Horn volleyball team announced that they are a recipient of the 20222023 United States Marine Corps - American Volleyball Coaches Association (USMC/ AVCA) Team Academic Award. It is the 10th consecutive year that the Lady Horns have re ceived the award.
