La Grange senior sprinter Austen Diggs has had quite the career while running for La Grange High School and added to his impressive resume with a first place finish in the 400 me- ter dash event at the Rice Swamp Relays meet last week. Diggs is committed to Baylor University for track and is one of the best runners not only in the state of Texas, but the entire nation.
Bellville track runners De - niah and Danika Runnels both finished first in their respective events at the Archie Seals Relays meet last week, which was held at their home field in Bellville at Brahmas Stadium. Deniah finished first in the 100 meter dash with a time of 12.69 and Danika placed first in the 200 meter dash with a time of 27.57.
SEALY – The Sealy High School baseball team found home plate when it mattered most to put runs on the board and earn a crunch time victory against Wharton High School March 26 at Tigers Field by a final score of 10-0. The pitching was on point and runs were driv en in when needed to wrap up a win by mercy rule in the bottom of the sixth inning.

The U.S. Supreme Court last Tuesday removed a temporary hold on the law, which allowed it to take effect for several hours before the 5th Circuit court again stopped SB4 from being enforced while it considers its constitutionality.
