The Austin County Sheriff's Office (ACSO) and the Colorado County Sher- iff's Office conducted a joint operation on April 24 to recover stolen property in the 1200 block of Bostik Road in Colorado County. At the scene, deputies recovered two vehicles recently stolen in New Ulm, as well as items from recent Colorado County burglaries. In addition, deputies located stolen items from the burglary at Systems Painters in New Ulm.

You may soon receive an appraisal notice from the Colorado County Appraisal District. The appraisal district will begin mailing out about 30,000 appraisal notices on May 3, 2024. Your city, county, school district and other local taxing units will use the appraisal district’s value to set your 2024 property taxes.
