COLUMBUS - Amanda Opperman, the sixth and eighth teacher at Columbus Junior High recently received a grant to take her students on a field trip to the NASA Space Center Houston. She routinely helps set up the club's meeting rooms, assists elderly members, plants pots and waters around the Colorado County Courthouse square in Columbus, and helps decorate down town for the Fall season as well as dec- orate the Colorado County Fairgrounds entrance for the Colorado County Fair.
